The Foundation has funded a Leadership Development Seminar for employees of the Lawrence Public Schools.
Developed and facilitated by Superintendent Randy Weseman, the program allowed educators and classified staff to meet together in evening sessions throughout the course of the school year. With guest speakers and lively debate, the focus has been on developing leadership skills and opportunities specific to public schools. The Foundation is currently seeking additional funding and community leaders to continue this program.
