The Ryan Walker Jazz Scholarship Fund was established by friends and family in memory of Ryan Walker, a Lawrence Free State High School student who passed away this year.

Awarded in the amount of $500 on an ongoing, annual basis to 1 or 2 graduating senior(s) from Lawrence Free State High School based on the following criteria:

• student must intend to pursue a music degree, specifically in the field of music/jazz
• student is involved in school activities
• student has exhibited leadership skills
