The Lawrence Schools Foundation is committed to effectively generating, managing and distributing funds for the preservation and enhancement of exemplary education provided by the Lawrence Public Schools.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Foundation has been established to benefit U.S.D. 497 students and professional staff members—and the community as a whole—on a long-term basis. The Foundation works closely with the Lawrence community, the Lawrence Education Achievement Partners (LEAP) and the Lawrence Public Schools to identify student and staff needs that cannot be addressed by the school district’s budget. The Foundation solicits and receives contributions from citizens, businesses, alumni, foundations and other sources to provide opportunities for both students and staff.
